Rummana Chowdhury Awarded by Alpona Baithak

Last Saturday, March 15, 2014, Alpona Boithok arranged a program titled "Three Poets' Award-Reception" at Biruttom Khaza Nizam Uddin Auditorium, Desh-Bangla Bhaban (2nd Floor)8/4-A, Topkhana Road, Segunbagicha, Dhaka for honouring internationally awarded poet, author and cultural personality Rummana Chowdhury, poet and researcher Syeda Nazmunnaher & Poet, Lyricist, Researcher and achiever of Doctorate Degree Syed Rono. Mohammad Harunur Rashid Ex. Director General of Bangla Academy presided over the program as honourable Chief Guest. Syed Badrul Ahsan (Executive Editor, The Daily Star), Prof. Nashid Kamal (writer & renowned Singer), Hasina Siddiqua (poet, lyricist), Md. Abdur Razzak, Bashir Ahmed and Mr. M.R. Komol (founder of Alpona Boithok) were present as honourable Special Guests at the event.
