Rummana Chowdhury's poetry is the sincere and honest lyrical expression of an imaginative mind reflection inventiveness and ingenuity. Her use of words and phrases are ornate and sophisticated portraying a receptive and fertile mind. Her body, soul and spirits have been remarkably nurtured by the magical soil of Bangladesh, Canada and India. As a result, she has been moulded gracefully by the best from all these three countries. This anthology of verses accurately portrays this.

She deals with issues like love for her birthplace which she had left at the age of twenty five, memories of Kolkata where she spent the first eight years of her childhood and of her day to day dreams and aspirations while living in Canada for thirty three years now. Themes of nostalgia, nature, love and separation, philosophy of life and living, seeing a light at the end of any dark tunnel, the ups and downs of reality and illusions predominate her poems.

After reading her first poem the reads will also feel like getting hold of a "Dream Catcher" to fulfill their exquisite dreams.
